Panasonic TU-DSB40 RF-Out 2 in Mono

    I have my standard Sky box in the lounge and the RF-Out 2 (2nd TV output) is routed round the house via a splitter. As I do more of my recordings via my computers TV-card, I am noticing that the Sky output is in mono although the aerial pass-thru channels are in Nicam stereo. The issue is such that I'm contemplating getting multiroom in the office just so I get decent sound on my recordings.

    Is this normal and has anyone any brightideas before I take the plunge and go for multiroom (and probably Sky+ at the same time)?

    That's normal. The Sky box doesn't have a NICAM encoder - they're too expensive. Channels which are already NICAM encoded are passed through.
