Panasonic TU-CT20 problem

    A friend gave me a Panasonic TU-CT20 because of a fault, it keeps turning itself off after 3 -4 minutes and i have no idea what the problem is or how it can be fixed.. anyone help?

    Try ringing panny these are made in cardiff and they deal with all the service of them etc. probably power supply fault, how old is it???

    Unsure, a friend gave me it for £20 because it was faulty, anyway i am curious as to how much it will cost to repair it or is it worth repairing..

    I borrowed a PACE box that did that - only it was after 14-18mins!

    Just gave it back to them, lol!

    If it's the power supply does that mean i can get a replacement lead with the plug or is it the internals of the unit thats the problem?

    i mean internal PSU, Capacitor not charging or discharging. I reckon best bet is call panny and see what they say. all STB repairs are done by them, there are a couple of places that will do em but with boxes costing £50 its not worth paying £35 with postage to get it sorted. Panny are your best bet especially if you can convince them it is under warranty.
