I have a TM-700 and when I was filming a music event during low light conditions in Auto mode the camera kept switching shutter speeds giving a very odd effect when viewing on a tv. It is like it goes into film effect mode (eg. blurry looking progressive scan) and it keeps swapping back to normal as the light changes so doesn't stay consistent.
In manual mode I have recreated the problem and can fix it by turning off Auto Slow Shutter mode but this is annoying as I don't want to have to run in manual mode during low light events.
Anyone else found this to be a problem and is there any way of turning off auto slow shutter in auto mode?
