    Hi All,
I am considering buying a Panny Th50pv30b and would be grateful if anybody with any knowledge of it would kindly shed some light on it.I have chosen this over the 42" as it has a higher resolution so would be better suited for any future HD inputs.I have also noticed that it has a lower contrast ratio than the 42".If and how much will this effect the black levels.
Any feed back would be great.Thankyou all.:lease:

The 50" still has a splendid amount of contrast. I have not yet seen the 50" runningso cannot comment on any specific details, the video design is right, not sure about the thickness of the panel, it has a built in sub. I sell monitor plasmas almost to the exclusion of all else, for various reasons, mostly cos most of my customers want the full monty, surround sound, integrated control etc, so they make more sense for that. Nonetheless, for a TV plasma, it's got a lot going for it, maybe more than the Pio HDE, HDMI notwithstanding. Panasonic haven't bothered with it, maybe they can't see an advantage given the resolution of their glass?
