    Hi
Was thinking of buying this tv from Costco on Monday....Yipee. Will be using it 50% SD, 25% PS3 and 25% Blue Ray. I tend to watch alot of channels like Bravo which constantly hav a logo in the corner. Will this cause image retension. I have been told by a friend that they have installed anti-burn technology, so screen burn does not occur. Is that true?

Also have read up here that the TV needs to be on low contrast for 200 hrs. So is that, the TV just playing continously for 10 hrs per day, for 20 days. Is it still watchable?

Cheers and thanks for the advice beforehand. :smashin:

As long as you take it out of 'Dynamic' mode (the shipping condition), there is no need to do anything special with it.

I've had a Pioneer 42 inch plasma for 4 years now and I've never had any issues with screen burn. So I would guess with the newer technology in the latest plasma's, you have nothing to worry about. My kids have watched the same kids channel for over an hour with a logo in the corner and my TV is fine.
