What is the difference between the TH42PZ700 and the TH42PZ70? Sevenoaks is selling the PZ700 for £1199 today only.

As far as i am aware the PZ700 is the older model that was replaced by the PZ70, the PZ700 has slighlty better internal speakers and an extra HDMI as the PZ700 has 3 HDMI i think and the PZ70 has 2 HDMI.

I wouldn`t say the PZ700 warrants the extra money, just get a surround sound system for the PZ70 for the price difference and you will have a far better sound set up.

I think they are the only main diffferences.

The PZ700 has PC connection and the speakers are not just slightly better but superior to the PZ70's. The PZ700 has not been replaced by the PZ70 but the 70 is a lower cost model. For example now you have the new PZ800 series which is better than the PZ80 series, it could be better speakers or more ports or even more features for the 800 series.

In any case the 700 is more expensive and it would not make sense on the whole if a more expensive panasonic model was inferior to a lower end cheaper Panasonic PZ70 model.

Also the pz700 has an SDHC card slot for direct playback of hi def AVC HD material.
