    Hello
I'm going to buy one of these. I've found it for £650 with only a standard warrantly. And on another site its £770 with 4 years screen warrantly. Do you all think its worth paying the extra bearing in mind my last TV's panels went twice in the last year.

    Thanks

    Paul

Get a price from Empire Direct, make sure they have in stock and then get John Lewis to price match the Empire Direct price which they do. You will then get the TV from John Lewis for the same price as Empire Direct but with the free 5 Year Warranty from John Lewis.

Cool thanks for the advice, how do I get them to price match a website though? There terms and conditions state they wont do that. Do I just take a print out of the TV into a John Lewis shop and speak to someone about it??

Does that mean JL shouldn't include the cost of P&P in the pricematch?

If you want JL to deliver, then they will price match to Empire but also include Empires delivery charge.

If you are collecting from JL then I dont think they do.

Just got my PX70 from JLP Southampton with 5 yrs after PMing with Empire (£659 inc delivery )

If collecting then I would worry about having to transport the panel upright - not something you can do unless you have a van? JL made the point that they always deliver Panels upright...

    Good luck!
