panasonic th42px60 screen blur problem

Active Member
Hi guys, I am new to this very informative forum. My name is Jim, and I am from n.Ireland.
I have a problem with my plasma viera, the central part of the screen is blurry, when the screen is all white the problem can be seen easily as a slightly darker grey patch, its like it is dirty, but it must be on the inside of the screen. I do smoke, perhaps this is the cause? Is it possible to get to the inside of the screen to clean it, or can the whole screen be replaced? Would it be worth doing this, I have no idea how much a screen would cost?
I would be gutted if I had to replace it, as other than this, its still a great tv.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
Thanks guys.
