Ordered my Panasonic TH42PV500B from Hi-Spek last Tuesday. Would have arrived on Friday last week, but because my postcode G84 is classed as the highlands !!!! (20 miles outside Glasgow) LOL, it was delivered this morning at & 7.30am. Early or what

Will be taking my old Panny 6 off the wall tonight and installing new PV500.

Will post pictures later as I go through the install. Also managed to upgrade the free Panasonic DVDR to a Panasonic EH50 with hard drive. Guy called Mark was very helpful at Hi-Spek

    Serves its purpose.

Hi there, can you please tell me about your PQ on the panny. Do you suffer from any pic problems i.e. jaggies, haloing around faces or ghosting through your sky box ? Any problems at all no matter how small ?

    Hi

My PQ from Sky + is fantastic but I do convert it to component through a converter box. Then through my Denon 3805 amp then to Plasma.

HDMI picture quality from Denon 2910 dvd is just stunning.

HTPC thought VGA looks as fab as well

    Hope this helps

As to hard drive spave, were do I start.

    1.2 TB Raid 5 (4 x 400gb SATA)
    1TB Lacie External drive

Keeps me going have about 200 dvds on hard drives ;)

I also use myMovies to add new Apple trailers which I convert to Mpeg2 so her in doors can view and make her mind up on what film we will go to see at local cinema.
