    Hi There,

I have a Panasonic TH42PE50 (with integrated freeview), and a Panasonic DMR-ES10 DVD Recorder. It all works fine but I've just acquired a a set of Yamaha NSP110 5.1 speakers.

I cant figure out how to connect the speakers to the rest of the stuff or even if its all capable of 5.1.

The speakers only have bear-wire connectors so I'm guessing I'll have to use an amp or some other kind of device to get it all to work.

I have a hi-fi amp from a set of old Hi-Fi seperates which has the proper connectors for the speakers, but would this still carry a 5.1 signal?

Any advice for a newcomer would be greatly appreciated!

    Dave

You will need an AV receiver or amplifier capable of amplifying 5.1 channels. Your stereo amp will manage 2.0 channel stereo only.
