Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.

I am considering buying the Panasonic TH42PA20, however, after reading the following reviews I'm not so sure:

In brief, they indicate that a faulty transistor causes the Panasonic to switch itself off after a few months use. Has anyone encountered this problem? Or has Panasonic now rectified it?

This problem only appeared to affect the monitor only PW6 screen not the PA20. I had never seen any comments regarding the PA20 having this problem.

It only affects the early batch (last August/September) and is very simple to fix. Panasonic have definitely fixed it in the PW6, (screen only), models.

    Steve.
