im moving to spain come august september 2007 and im interested in the new panny th37px70e.am i better off buying one in spain or in the uk.ive heard you have to do something with the sound or something im not quite sure and if so can you do it yourself?
Useful info regarding different variations of the same model has been posted today in the main TH-42PX70 discussion thread.
There are more features with the TH-42PX70E as sold in Spain.
Your question regarding sound probably has something to do with Spain using a different form of PAL for receiving analogue terrestrial transmissions.
This wouldn't be an issue with the TH-42PX70E if you buy in Spain as it has a multi-standard European tuner. You would have a problem if you bought the TH-42PX70B as sold in the UK as this only has a PAL I tuner which is probably unsuitable for TV reception in Spain - you would get a picture but probably no sound.
JFAB80 is 100% right. The UK model will tune in your stations visually, but not give you sound. And for some bizarre reason, Panasonic seems to have given Spain (& continental) buyers more goodies - on the setup menus, at least, maybe in the actual innards too.
