Panasonic TH37PX70 vs. TH37PX8

Here's the situation; my aunt is selling her 18 month old Panasonic TH37PX70 for £400, with the glass stand, which seems pretty good. I couldn't find many reviews of this model, except this one:

However, for £68 more, I could get the TH37PX8 from amazon:

Both seem to have pretty much the same specs, but of course one is second hand, and one is new. I can't really find much on the PX8, because, obviously the comparable model is the PX80.

So what I'm asking is; do you think it is worth the extra money for the brand new PX8, and how does it fare against the PX70? (The PX80 is too expensive for me, so you know.)

Thank you :)

The PX8 is not as good spec. as the PX80. In fact it is virtually the same as the PX70, but it does have 1080/24p playback and is 100Hz. There is no PC VGA connection and only 2 HDMIs.
