Buy a freeview box (cheaper and better!) or a DVD-recorder!

    Colonel,
Have a look in the specials section on AV Forums here, Alastair colly is doing a special on the PW6, and comes with a '''' TV Box''''' solution as well.
Go on try it, and if your still not sure, click on his link and then click on the plasma screen on his website, and you can see the '''' tv box'''' (Quintro) and see how it all fits together.
    hope this helps

Colonel, And I would add to VT's post above that is probably worth giving AVsales a quick call to discuss as they have been great with me this week, I placed my order for the Panny 6 deal and they customised to suit what I needed so I am sure if you tell them what you want to do they will tell you exactly what you need etc. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Right Ok - I had a PWD from AVSales, started with a scart card - very soft image with a horizontal "interferance". It has to be said a very sorry state as far as a picture was concerned. Containstly adjustinging brightness and contrast. Then I got a RGB-PLASMA JS Technology and my screen has turned into a dream. I am 100% satisfied with my PQ.

    Next step component card.

I went straight in with the RGB2VGA convertor and I have to say Sky + picture has FAR beaten my expectations! I also got the component card for DVD and that is just STUNNING!

Get the component board as your free one and spend the extra £115 or so on the convertor and you will not be dissapointed :)

Same as Sarge, got mine up on the wal last night and it is A1 through the Quintro etc. That deal with AVSales seems to be the best around as well so go for it!
