Hi guys, I am considering buying this plasma Panasonic TH-37PX8BA from amazon.
Any opinions on this set? Does it have good SD performance.
Also a general question.., i want to use xbox and my pc with this tv, but they contain a lot of static images, would there be an issue with screen burn?
Cheers

What price is it?
The TH-37PX80BA was going for £499.99 at Curry's, might still be.
I believe the 80 is superior to the 8, you could compare them on panasonics website.
Not sure about the screen burn. But I'm pretty sure it does have a pc input.

Best comparing the two, maybe worth paying the extra £70 if you believe it is worth it.
The 80 gets very good reviews everywhere but I'm not sure about the 8.
Search the forum for any feedback.

There are a number of differences between the PX8 and PX80 plasmas and the PX80 is the tv of choice. In this case, as you want to use your PC on the tv, the fact that the PX8 does not have a dedicated PC input (VGA) may be a pretty important point.

Agreed, its quite salient isnt it?
I may have to save up the extra pennies then. Am i right in thinking that there is a current trend for tv prices to go up?
Can anyone recommend a good value site?
