    Hello.

I have the TX-29AK1 model and this is how to get into the service menu:

    Bass to max.
    Treble to min.
    Hold down "index"
Press "-" (minus) on the front of the set.

This works on the PK1 series as well and will work on your TX-33AK10.

My uncle bought the same tv as yours. How are you finding it? Where did you purchase it from and how much? Is there anything wrong with it due to the service menu code needed?

exiting service menu can be done by turning the tv off an dthen back on again, or you should be able to do it if your remote has an exit button on it.

Be very carefull mesing around with service settings. If you dont know what you are doing you can cause a reall mess in there
Right everything down first so if you make any mistakes you can go back to the original settings. :)

    Ok,
you can do this by just looking at the screen, but i would recomend the use of a test pattern. These can be found on the Digital Video esentials DVD or the Avai DVD.
To center the picture you will need to use the H-pos and V-pos options in the sevice menu.
If you need to adjust any overscan you will need to use the H-amp and V-amp options in conjuction with the H-pos and V-pos options.

There are normaly 4 coloured buttons on the panasonic remote controll.
The first 2, RED and GREEN will cycle backwards and forwards through the options. The second 2 YELLOW and BLUE will change the values up and down. Then Press enter to store the values.

Write everything down first before you change the values. That way if you make a mistake you can go back to the factory settings.

Always be care full whenever you are messing around with the service menu of any TV set of plasma. If you dont know what you are doing , you can really mess things up!!
