Panasonic Strada CN-HDS700TD navigation - works in Europe/UK?

Have Panasonic Strada CN-HDS700TD navigation installed in the car imported from Japan. GPS seems to be working fine here, but there are no appropriate maps in the memory. Does anyone have an idea if there is a way to make this navigation system work?
