panasonic sky digibox

    i had my panasonic dsb30 sky digital reciever for about 3 & half years now.I'm starting to get signs of pixellation,Football is the worst for it.........Time for a New one perhaps or is there something i can do myself?

    Check signal quality on the affected bouquets by entering the parameters in the Manual Tuning menu. If signal quality is low then you probably have a dish/LNB alignment problem, tree leaves blocking the signal, or faulty cable or connections.

    You could also test your Digibox on a friend's good dish system.

    OK, read through the following technical page. It shows screen shots basically of what I'm referring to. The only difference is that it refers to an ITV bouquet. If that's not one that's affected, you'll have to look up the parameters for the ones that are.
