    Hi,

    I recently purchased a Panasonic tx36pd30 tv and a scht900 dvd/ surround system.

I have been very pleased with both, except for one problem.

If I play DVD's (i.e. attack of the clones/ blade runner) using a component connection, the picture will jump every so often.

If I use the RGB Scart cinnection the problem does not seem to occur.

I am keen to use the component connection, as I beleive this improves picture quality. I am using a brand new IXOS component lead, 3 rca to 3 rca. I do get a good picture, but this jumping occurs erratically.

I'm not sure if it is the TV/ DVD or lead ?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have also emailed Panasonic, so hopefully I will get some feedback from them.

    Thanks,

Who did you buy from? do you have another component source? Xbox etc that you can try to see which one is playing up? Does it jump while watching a film? could be a sync issue but not sure what is the cause.
