Hello, I am new to home cinema and I was wondering if anybody could tell me which of these two home cinema systems (PANASONIC SCHT520 or PIONEER DCS-323) give the better sound quality (not necessarily the loudest)? And also which is best overall?

    Thankyou

Thanks. The panasonic does seem better. The only problem is that it doesn't have a digital in for the connection of my xbox. Does this mean that I wont be able to take advantage of the 5.1 sound that my xbox can have?

    Nearly missed that post, sorry.

Yes, I believe that to be correct, I have had the same consideration with my Gamecube, but the type of games that get played on it won't really make any difference, and that's only if they support 5.1 of course.
That, and the fact that Richer Sounds are doing the Multiregion version for £179 swayed me :D

You're right but you have to purchase an Xbox Advanced Scart Cable and that has an optical out on it.
