Panasonic, Samsung or ??? Confused

I've been lurking around for a while rerading reviews and rtrying to work out what to buy.

The easy bit is the budget is £1000-£1300 ish and no larger than a 46" screen.

It will be used mainly for normal TV viewing and bluray films and PS3 games (in particular COD etc) (Don't have sky and don't want it)

It will sit in a room that is quite light but shouldn't get any direct sunlight onto the screen.

I've narrowed it down to a GT30 Panasonic or a Samsung D7000.

I really can't decide which to go for as most of the shops i've been to push the Samsung but I've seen a GT30 at a friends house and really liked it. Apart from a little blockiness on some TV programme.

Help :lease:

I bought the 42GT30 about 3 weeks ago and i'm really happy with it.

Normal tv picture looks fine but blu ray stuff looks awesome even compared to my last Panasonic Plasma screen.

Not tried the 3D stuff yet....

You can get the 46GT30 from Amazon for £951 with all the freebies including blu ray player but NOT the 5 year warranty!

I read a fair bit more, slashed the budget, diverting the spare funds to my cigar hobby, and got a JL price match for a panasonic 50" st30.

Should be coming a week Friday , can't wait
