Panasonic S75 or Pioneer DV-656?

I have an Aiwa DV-370 which I bought from Richer Sounds with Supercare, it has £100 cashback which will run out end of May.

I'm now interested in upgrading it, should I go for the Panasonic S75 (£105) or Pioneer DV-656 (£150)?

Picture and sound quality of upmost importance (I'm not interested in Prog. Scan)

The S75 is great, I cannot comment on the 656 thogh the 565 I have only just bought is also a great, well respected deck, able to play DVD-A and SACD discs.
My TVs low level of scarts is a limiting factor and steers me to bias twin scart players for loopthru of RGB.
Buying a multiregion one may also be of use to you.

I no longer have the S75 but I prefered it to my Sony 900v, I also felt it was easier to use.
I don't think either will dissapoint but the Pioneer's SACD and DVDA is a good plus point together with twin scarts.

The 656 is a much better player it was only discontinued because the review told everyone it wasn't worth the difference between it and the 565. That was @ £400
So it's worth at least £200!!(The rough price of 565) and then a bit!
The S75 is good but no SACD
