    hi

I have a Panasonic dvd S35 . Works fine with my portable tv. I cannot get it to work with my B and O TV. I get the dvd initial picture but as the film loads the tv switches back to TV programmes.

Any ideas . Other DVD players seem to work fine with my B and O.

    thanks

you need to set B&O TV AV input to something, dependoing on the model depends on the options available to you but setting it to decoder or AV often works

Thanks for the idea hornydragon. That didnt work i tried every combination.
Its weird. It can see the dvd (the dvd start page comes on) but as soon as the disc begins to play it switches back to the tv channel.

    Any other ideas greatly appreciated.

Option 1 from the DVD player - video Y pb pr.

This should send a normal composite signal up the scart to the B&O.

Option 3 would be preferable but I'm not so sure the MX6000 will accept a RGB signal

AV2 on Mx6000 is S-video/composite IIRC AV1 is RGB, if you have a B&O VCR in AV1 move it to AV 2 and have DVD on AVi RGB (sorry a bit rusty on MX6000 sets.....) also a quick call to local dealer should sort it all out....i thik it was LX TV's but some old B&O have 2 scarts but only one input on the chassis AV2 was an optional extra.......either call your local dealer of B&O technical in gloucester

    You are a star.

That sorted it. I switched the scars around and she works fine.

    Many thanks for that.
