Have got some hacks as to make my RV-32 region free, but I couldn't succeed.
All info I got came from www.videohelp/dvdhacks.php but none of them worked out.

Does anybody have some more info on that?

    Cheers / Avliner.

Thats because there are no "built in" handset hacks for any Panasonic model! Only way to mod this machine (or any other Panasonic model) was by either buying it pre-modded from a specialist dealer, or having it upgraded / a DIY mod kit, again by a specialist dealer.

    Thanks Justin,

it's really weird that some people say they've been able to turn the RV-32 into region free; however some at the site I've been swears to god they couldn't.. ( site is: www.videohelp.com/dvdhack.php).

I've always heard that with Panasonic there's no way to do it via the remote control. In other hand same info states that yes, it's possibile to do it with this specific model (RV-32), which in fact is one of quite a few in the huge Panasonic range. Any news, please let me know.

    Cheers / Avliner.

No probs, but the reason you get conflicting reports, is because of the number of people whom have either bought them multiregion in the first place (without realising) or have bought machines form friends, etc that again have been modified. Thats why the "hacks" appear to work on some machines and not others.

Panas are one of the few manufacturers out there that still don`t make it easy to modify their machines, unless done so by a dealer at time of purchase, or via a modification website :(
