I am still having problems recording to my DMR 100 some jpegs via my LG super multi format burner. Whenever I try to add something it tells me my disc is not empty do I want to overwrite it. When I look at the disc which is empty all it shows is a DVD_RTAV folder which I thought may contain the formatting info. Any ideas please.

Yes you can. I copy JPEGs to DVD-RAM all the time for displaying in my Panasonic HS2. Sounds like your having read/write problems with your DVD-RAM drive.
