I bought the PWD8 with an additional component board, with the intention of connecting my DVD through component, Sky+ with s-video and my PS2 with composite (I'm not that fussed about picture quality). It turns out (unless I'm doing something silly), that you can't connect s-video and composite at the same time.

As I'll probably buy a PS3 in the next year or so, I'd like a cheapish option of connecting up the PS2 for now.

    I could either buy :

an additional component / scart / svideo board
the JS Tech Master Component Controller

or connect Sky+ and the PS2 to my Yamaha DSP-AX640 via s-video and have one s-video out to the TV. This seems the easiest way of doing it, but would it have an adverse effect on the Sky+ picture? If so, have I missed any other options?

    Thanks.
