    Of 1280x720

I heard people say they run that PWD6 at that res as its a 16:9 res and perfect for games, but if i use that res i lose the signal this is at 60Hz as Nvidia control panel wont allow less

To get this res are you guys using 50Hz?

i want to play Half life 2 In the 16:9 mode but the panny just wont accept it and when i turn it to that in HL2 options it just loses signal

I'm getting 1280/720 via VGA at 50, 60, 72 and 75. Via DVI only at 60 and I think at 72, but it might not be actually doing that, so don't take it as a done deal.

I Am Using DVI and it wont accept it at 60

    what am i doing wrong?

I am using Nvidia control panel rather than powerstrip but should that make a difference? as the drivers except the res but the plasma just says no signal

try 59.94 then. They are notoriously difficult, be reassured you are not stupid. Try VGA too, it really is pretty good, hard to tell from digital.

Well this is odd i tried that and its the same No Signal

I just downloaded Powerstrip and it wont work with that either, how come my plasma wont accept resolutions that others can :)

This is annoying was looking forward to playing HL2 in proper Widescreen

The problem with trying VGA is i have My AMP connected via VGA which is why i whent DVI :(

Well after messing about for a while i got it to accept 1360x768

which to be onest looks about the same as 1024x768 (in terms of readability of windows) ok for short use but when i set Half life 2 to 16:9 mode and 1360x768 boy does it look good :)

Pleased to hear it, strange resolution, not in the book, but if it works and looks good who cares!

Yeh the reason i tried that res was in Half life 2 settings when you choose 16:9 Widescreen

you get the following Res to choose From

    848x480
    1088x612
    1280x720
    1360x768

the one i wanted was 1280x720 but would not do that so the one above is next best thing
