I have been looking at one of these models, most on here seem to reate it.

Looking at all the sites I have seen there is some diffrent model numbers D6 and so on is there any read diffrence?

Also the black models seem to be cheaper,?

Most I have looked at come with what they say is a Scart board, is this a RGB scart board, ready to hook up Sky+.

So another board would be needed for component, yes.

I see that there is 3 slots on this model

Also I would like to get this on 0% can anyone recommend a good place for this.

I seen some giving 5 warranty and a wall mount, this isa real + for an item llike this.

would it be best to get the best 0% price then, buy the warranty. whats the best deal plese people.

    any views please

the vga port that comes on the plasma can be set to accept a component signal, so this would save on a board. all you need is a vga(hd15) to component cable avalable from good av stockists.i think that covers 1 of your questions

darren 7 have you checked when they could supply the pw6 as on there web-site not due in till early december, was showing late november last week, how many people have them on pre-order av-sales could not promise me a silver one till next year, they did offer to spray a black one silver for me, " no thanks "
so had to look elseware, most panny dealers could not give me a definate date for a silver one, found one in the end, should come next monday or tuesday awaiting component board

I do understand this but, I do feel that the 5 year warranty is very important, and looking around on the web people want a lot for 5 years.

I no I can a black for a good deal, but not the warranty.

Looking to feed it with sky+ and component from the DVD.

how will you wire yours up.

is there anyone else who offers 5 years ( apart from JL).

What do you mean you need the *board*?

This model has doesn't need a scart/component/etc modual as it has them built in already.

This is the plasma tv version of the panny 6.

sorry this was not the same link, it isTHIS one.

I note that they are doing 0% and the 5 year warranty.

now I can do a barclays card refund, as they state the 5 year warranty is free, I can find it cheaper. I will need some boards though.

no way would I want the Panasonic TH42PA20B what a waste for me, a analog tuner........mmmm. no thanks, digi box would be better.

now I just need to find the lowest price, for the nice barclays people.

You dont have to use it you know!!!!!
Actually compare the PQ on Sky with that of analogue, if you have a good signal BBC1/2 on aanalogue will look much better!!!

well the TH42PA20B cost a lot more than the deals you can get on the pw6.

you are saying the analog pictures are better, this is not what most have said. yes they have all said that the sky box giong into the scart is quite soft.

But I have been told that a sky box using a converter cable into the 15pin d is very good.

I am no expert on this though, but have been told there are many permitations that you can use for an RGB sky box. the pa20 is around £3300 I think, you can et a black pw6 for £2150 + vat.

I can buy some nice boxes or cables, and still have cash. am I missing the point?
