I notice than when the light shines on the speaker panels that there seem to be slight imperfections in the plastics as in they are not 100% flat and smooth, has anyone else noticed this or am I just being over critical?

    Regards.

I had also noticed this, but have decided to live with it.

Glad it's not just me but find it very annoying, you spend £2.5k on the plasma and would expect it to be perfect..

Maybe a silly point but have you peeled off the plastic protective membrane ?

Yep. I only notice it from a certain direction, depending on the light falling on the screen. It doesn't distract me from watching the screen, hence I will live with it.

I only noticed it when the plastic membrane was removed, Ekko Star can I assume that you don't have this problem?

I will try to take one when I get home, as mentioned above it's only when the light hits the speakers that it's noticeable, just that where I sit at a slight angle you can see it and it bugs me!!!

If you get some light shining on the speakers and follow it up and down (or side to side if looking at the bottom speaker) can you see no slight hollows?

    Some pics

I have had a look at the bottom speaker panel, I think I know what you mean.

I think when the plastic is made there will be plastic strenghners behind so I think that might cause a very slight bump. They are where the 2 bottom speaker grills are and one in the middle of the bottom speaker panel, I wouldn't ever notice it from where I sit.

Exactly the same as mine, I have tried to photograph the side speakers but the Image shows nothing up, if everyone has the same problems then I guess it's just something we have to live with..... Grrrrrrrrr!!

I am afraid so, I don't think it is a manufacturing defect or anything.
