Have already briefly mentioned this on another thread but thought I'd better start a fresh one.

Need to wall-mount a 37" flatscreen to make space in my living room. I was convinced I'd buy a 37" LCD a couple of months ago because of the slim build & weight but have since discovered the PQ on SKY (I watch mostly sports) was awful compared to Plasma. So i've decided to go with plasma.

I had been waiting for the PV500 to come out but am very disappointed with the bulkyness of the whole thing. It's fairly pleasant to look at but would stick out an absolute mile on a wall mount. I like the spec & I like the minimal sized speakers (I hate large framed, massive speakered bulky plasmas).

Can anyone suggest an alternative available now or in the future I should look out for? Don't want to wait too long, have waited months already. Any links to new upcoming pdfs would be appreciated. thanks

No need for the choice. You can order it from AV Sales AND wait ;)

It is quite big, but it has all the electronics, 2 subwoofers, digital tuner etc built in.
I am getting around the bulkiness a bit by mounting mine on the wall, sunk in to plasterboard about 4cm, so it will only stick off the wall 10cm.
You would be looking at a panel version to have the minimal look.

Some people want the moon on a stick :)

I think I'm sold on it by those pictures. I can live with 14cm bulk. Just need JL to Price Match Hi-Spek now....cheers

You know it makes sense...I would have prefered the PHD8 to be honest, but I can't wait.

Is is the Pv500 panel but with no speakers/tuner/inputs etc. You have to buy your input boards, should be out Sept ish.
