Panasonic PV-GS35 - can i capture video on SD?

    Hi, i've recently bought a PV-GS35 Camcorder (details ) with a 1Gb SD card. When i try to capture video, it ask for tapes. Can i use my Memory Card to capture video? is it necessary to buy tapes for video recording?

    Yes you need Mini DV tapes to record to. The SD card is for stills only.

    The Panasonic NV GS 200 records to SD card in MPEG4 as well as to mini dv tape.
