Any one have the dimensions for the panasonic so I can make my own ceiling mount. It would also be useful if I could get the measuments for the mounting holes on the projector.
The middle hole will take a tripod screw, if thats any help? Not sure about any corner fixings though.
I would also be intested in how others have managed this. the beams in our ceiling run from soffa to screen so its a pain in the butt if using a fixed plate or something. Anim
On page 21 of the manual it states that there is a ceiling bracket (ET-PKE100) that can be used. Anim
Hello all Unicol Engineering - who produce about 70% of all the AV brackets you see kit hanging from in the UK will have a PT-AE100 later this week supplied by Panasonic Business Systems, to enable them to build a suitable ceiling bracket. Expect to see a good quality bracket in the next couple of weeks for around £150.00. Regards Joe joe@tmfsolutions.co.uk www.tmfsolutions.co.uk PS Re the tripod mount - we still do not know if this is OK as a 'hanging' point; we have asked the question but no reply as yet.
The Tripod mount on the base of the PT-AE100 should not be used for ceiling mounting. It is only glued in. This is a pity because it is very cheap to buy CCTV camera mounts that can be ideal for mounting the PT-AE100. One work aorund is to get a plate made that attaches to the proper mounting holes on the base of the PT-AE100 and get a tipod size (3/"8" ?) welded onto this plate. Cheers Rick
