Hi Guys....i've been saving up months to buy a panny 42px70 but i've just checked the JL site and seen the Samsung PS50C96HDX for £899.
When I've done the compare between the 2 panels, the samsung looks better.(surely not)
My room can handle a 50" and i'd rather have a 50" but why is it cheaper? it seems to goood to be true.

Can anyone give me a good reason to stick to my guns with the Panny and not to buy the Samsung ??

I'd be using it mostly for SKY+ SD now but eventually moving towards some HD content and a PS3

Probably worth reading the other threads on the models you're interested in.

:)

When in the shop looking a two different tv's you should ask for the remotes and set them both up to produce the best picture they can manage, then compare. Out of the box settings can vary wildly.
I really like samsungs, my son has a 32" lcd samsung and the picture is excellent.
