I can get the Samsung LE32R41BDX for £720, or the panasonic TX32LXD60 for about £1150

Is it worth paying the extra £430 for the panasonic?

I cant find any response time info on the panasonic.. but only real difference in spec I can see is the panny has a 1200:1 contrast ratio and the samsun 800:1

Would you pay the extra £430

    Cheers

    Hi,

Don't know anything about the Sammy but, I do have the Panny which I bought this week from John Lewis for £1020 (Price Matched against Videoket) - see the last few pages of this thread:

    http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=262433&page=44

The Panny has a built-in DVB tuner and 2 HDMI slots, which I'm sure will become standard for all future LCDs.

Quite frankly no. It's not worth £430 extra. Just out of interest, where have you found the samsung for £720, freemans?
