    Hello,

I have just got a Panny S75, which hopefully will be very nice indeed (just waiting delivery!).

I have my sights set on eventually getting some Canton CD-1s, but I am not sure on receivers. I do like the look and spec of the Pioneer D812, but do not know whether I would be better investing in a Panny receiver to match the DVD player?

I would like to get the Panasoni TX-28PS1 tv at some point as well. (Hmmnn....do I like Panasonic?!)

What should I be aiming for? Panny, Pio....something else? My budget is around the £300 mark for a receiver, but cheaper would be better! Keep the other half at bay! ;)

    Thanks,

    Mark.

Panasonic receivers are regarded as not being that great - Pioneer have a much better rep - As you can see i also like Panasonic but the Pioneer 812 or 912 is coming my way early January to replace my Sony... The 812 has had some great reviews in recent months along with the Yamaha (cant remember model) and newer Sony model...
