Panasonic Or Pioneer At High Speed

I use high speed dubbing on my 5100 a lot since advancing from the HS2.But I am interested to know how it works on the E100.As we know, high speed dub only works if the recording on the HDD is the same quality as the dvdr, which restricts the use of high speed to whenever you know the running time that your final edit will be.I often transfer 3 episodes of 60's US shows to DVD.I know the finished edit will be 2.5 hours,so when I record the unedited block from Sky+ to HDD,the 3 hour 20 recording is set to the quality level that the Pioneer shows will match 2.5 hours on dvd.
Does the E100 offer a similar indicator to show the quality you need to record at to ensure high speed compatibility?
