    Hi,

    I understand that the Panasonic NV-DS60 is a Mini-DV.

    What I want to know:

What does the video record on to, do i have to buy Mini DV tapes to put in the camcorder? or does it have built in memory?

If it is on tape, how long would i be able to record onto one tape?

Is the only way to connect the camcorder to the computer by Firewire? or can i use USB ?

    Thanks
    Kev

    Q1: yes, yes, no.
Q2: usually 60 minutes, 90 in lp mode.
    Q3: see Q2.
    Q4: yes, no usb.

This is a great value-for-money, affordable cam. High picture and build quality. Has limited optical zoom, no memory card slot, no dv-in port, limited light sensitivity, but otherwise outperforms almost all others at this price. In other words; great for those holiday and party shots. And its quite small, too.
