    Just been emailled this:-

    "Panasonic Plasma Update

    Panasonic has never been so great, the sheer demand for this product is
    amazing. They keep building upon a sturdy, well made platform that sees an
    ever increase in usable features and clarity. While the NEW TH-42PWD7BKJ
    looks the same on the outside, and take existing cards in the 3 input slots,
    Panasonic have added a range of new boards. Such boards are available to
    deal with DVI, SDI, HDMI, SCART, Composite, Component are to mention only a few. They have also given the screen wireless capabilities;
    This enables up to 4 computers display images without the need for any cables. Ever thought about running a plasma screen over great distances on Cat5e? Well now you can, The Panasonic screens can now be fed over 492Feet on Cat5e, Hosting audio, visual and control capabilities through this network cable. "

    cant be ethernet then at 492 can it?

    492 feet, so thats a fraction above 150m...

    Sounds fair to me...

    I've run Cat 5e network stuff longer than that!
