Panasonic MV GX7 (electronic stabilizer problem)

I recently tried out two GX7 (Asia model, i.e. 1.2 Mpixels) from two different shops and both have stabilizer problem.

This model is using electronic stabilizer and when optical zoom-in max and slowly zoom-out, the picture starts to shake. This don't happen on sony TRX50 or Canon 500i.

Did anyone encounter this problem? Is there a solution. e.g. software patch or so on? I may buy this camcorder if there is a permanent solution to this.

I have recently purchased a Panasonic NV-GX7B (UK spec model) and have not experienced such problems. I have so far been delighted with the results of the camcorder and the extra bonus of the digital still etc.
