i talked him down to 800 us and it still has 6 months warenty on it.. is there any way to get a extended warrenty and do you think the price is worth the g10

No idea. This is a UK forum so you might be best off trying elsewhere I think?

THX is not available on the UK/Euro G10s. But we get proper 4:4 pulldown for blu-rays which is far more important in my opinion.

Of course, the Euro G10s get 4:4 pulldown and full calibration so they've got the best deal
