Panasonic JL Pricematch Dilema!

Hi all

I have been quoted £1250 for a Panasonic TH-50PX70 with 3 years warranty from a local centre, I just looked on Empire Direct and it's £999, am I right in thinking that John Lewis (Bristol) will probably price match this and also give 5 years warranty or am I missing something.

Has anyone done this as I don't want to just ring them without all the info behind me???

I have price matched several TV's with John Lewis.

I would normally email two or three of the closest to me to see if I can get a positive result. Each branch has it's own undersales team making the decisions so if one branch says no another may agree.

As long as the item is in stock at the retailer you are looking to price match with and the price is that on display then you should be okay

I have been ringing around Bristol and Reading JL and both say they won't honour internet prices i.e. Empire Direct...

Hi,

JL in Liverpool and Manchester WILL honour ED if you mention the fact that ED do have land based stores. Hope this helps you out.
