Panasonic HX DC1

Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone can share any thoughts?

I had recently "sold" one of my old cameras on Ebay that was the Panasonic HX DC1 like this one:

And I hadn't used it for a long spell, so it went on Ebay, I had the camera about 8 years ago from a seller on Ebay and the camera itself is in good nick, there are general "cosmetic scratches" the port flap on the back had "broke" but didn't ultimately affect usage, and the LCD Screen was "Wobbly"

Yet can easily switch it on, take a video and photo and charge fine.

Cut a long story short I had sold it to a buyer who I had "dealings with" on Ebay and posted it off on Thursday and this morning he moaned at me saying he wasn't happy

This was part of this message:
broken port covers, covered in scratches, it looks like someone has tried to prise the lens off and the screen hinge is very wobbly and loose.

Yet the camera was fully checked to see that it worked like normal, I'm sure this buyer was fobbing me off and in the end he asked for a refund.
Ultimately any ideas on how much this could cost to mend?
