panasonic HS2 and Editing, ie final cut pro ?

    has anyone tried to use this deck with the firewire input with an editing system ? i would love to be able to output a dvd master for clients, vs a minidv or vhs.

    A PC and a firewire connector would seem to be the best solution as there are mny PC editing packages. However, what they don't tell you is that it can takes ages for the PC (a 1.6Ghz XP Athlon, 512MB DDR, BTW) to render the video. The simplisting method of connecting the DV input to the recorder seems a veyr good idea.
