I am one of the few who have a tv and 4k player that support both formats, Some 4k blu rays i have support both formats, I usually go with DV though it from a technical point, It is the better format, But i have to disable HDR10+ on my UB820 otherwise it shall always default to 10+ instead of DV, Any way around this without turning 10+ off on the player? The only 4k Blu ray i have that support only 10+ Is the cornetto trilogy, Any one else in a similar situation which format do you choose??

Did you ever get any replies or suggestions to this issue of what to do when a 4kblu ray comes in both DV and HDR10? I have the same issue with my Panasonic 820.

Thanks for the information. My TV is a 2017 LG OLED B7, which I don't believe can do HDR10+, only regular HDR10 and Dolby Vision. As a result, should I just go into the Panasonic player's settings and disable HDR10+? I'm thinking that it would then default to DV when the disc is in DV, and HDR 10 when the disc does not have DV.

Yeah I can not do 10+ only 10 and dv and it shall always default to DV in that case, so yeah just disable it as your tv can not use it.
