I have recently purchased a gx7 and having read the instruction booklet was of the opinion that the free angle flash could be operated whilst recording, however i can only get it to operate when taking stills. Is this correct or should the flash double up as a light if the conditions require it.
    Cheers,Stonesy.

Keith, unfortunately not, yours is the only reply that i got, i think that i will contact the salesman at 'LETS GO DIGITAL' he was really helpful when i purchased my GX7 failing that i'll e-mail Panasonic UK,hopefully they should tell me.
Is it me, or is the instruction booklet poor?
    cheers,Stonesy

    :hiya:

I've had the GX7 since last summer.

The flash is only for stills.

You'll have to use the accessory shoe to attach a light, though it records in doors fine for me without a light.

Brilliant, just the spec I was after, though I am dissapointed by the stills quality.I think I was expecting too much from a 1.2MP camcorder. It takes better close ups than landscapes, great ones actually.
