    Dear Guys,

Can somebody help me to explain how to transfer video from the camcorder to PC for the panasonic gs120?

We bought firewire cable, but apparently, we dont find any slot for it in the camcorder, does it have any firewire connection at all?

can we use any video editing software, or does it have to be official panasonic software to be able to transfer the video to pc?

    Please help me guys.

    Thank you

    Grace

Page 48 of the user manual for your camera shows a DV (firewire) connector under a cover on the back end of the camcorder below the battery.

You can use almost any editing programme to capture and edit your video - you do not have to use the Panasonic one. The Panasonic software supplied with their VideoCameras is usually only for taking still images from the camera to PC - not video
