Hi there,

After searching hi and low for a decent beginners video camera I've pretty much decided on the panasonic GS-120 as its 3 ccd, has had some good reports and wont break the bank. I just wanted to ask if any of you had any first hand knowledge of the camera (good or bad) in order for me to finally make the decision and shell out the cash.

Peg.

Hi,

its a fantastic wee cam, the only real competitor is the sony HC-40.

If you are going to view your stuff on a widescreen telly go for the HC-40, if you have a standard telly go for the 120.

The 120 has the better optics and more user control (if you wish to use it that way), but will be lower quality than the sony in widescreen mode.

enjoy

Thanks Roy, I think the 120 is what I'm after, thanks for re-assuring me in this hour of need before I let the moths out of my wallet and part with the cash.

Thanks again.

Peg
