Hi, does anyone know where I can get a Japanese Panasonic Gamecube Q, modified for both multi-region dvd playback and US & Jap game compatible? If you know the price too, that would be great!
They are a great retailer and I highly recommend them. Price is $435 ex. shipping which should be around $50 for UPS or GPM. Be prepared though that importing from the US/Japan may incur extra charges when it arrives in the UK. This can amount to a further 25% of the total price .
NCSX are very import friendly though and are more than happy to mark goods down in value etc., but you'll need to ask them first.
Both offer a 1st class service but they are not cheap. Apparently Freeloader is ready and being burned now so should be available shortly. I'll believe it when I see it but probably worth waiting a few more weeks before getting a hardware mod done .
I just recently finished Mario Sunshine (all 120 Shines) and have been re-playing good old Mario 64. I still haven't got round to playing Resident Evil though. It's just been sitting gathering dust for the last few months. I'm getting Starfox this weekend as my brother is bringing it back from the US for me. I'm also expecting Timesplitters 2 shortly so Starfox will probably have to wait in line.
I recommend Eternal Darkness - more like a puzzle adventure game than the action of Resident Evil but still very good if you've got the time on your hands.
Off topic but its nice to hear that Nintendo will be making a new Panasonic Q but with added TiVo like features ^_^ It was announced ages ago I know but still, it would be nice to have...

Might have somewhere Taz but I read about it a while ago and I usually take my info from a few sources... A good place just for bits of news is www.the-magicbox.com but just remember it does contain rumours and as with anything off the net, you can't trust it word for word 100% of the time. I think www.planetgamecube.com also had the news somewhere. Sorry I couldn't provide a direct link >_<
