    Hello

    I have a Panasonic G30 TV.
I have speakers connected with mini-jack to the TVs headphone output.
The problem is that I cant change the sound volume from the +/- buttons.
I have to go in to the menu, sound settings and change the volume for the headphones.

Could this converter solve the problem? AMP Digital Optical Coaxial Toslink to Analog RCA L/R Audio Converter Adapter | eBay
So I could change the volume one the +/- buttons like the buit-in speakers.

No, that won't work as the optical out is fixed at line level and the volume will be controlled by your amp.
