Nice shots Andy - that pigeon is looking a bit sorry for itself though :)

Hi, Andy, all nice shots.
I prefer the pigeon, but then I have always had a weak spot for the poor and the unhappy :clap::clap::smashin::smashin::smashin:

Here's a few shots from recent days, all with the GH2 and some PP done in LR4

Thanks, TB, you're right about the branch. In a next round of editing, I'll see if I can get rid of it, but cropping is no option, because it makes the pic to tight at the top. Won't be easy, in that sky

Welcome to the m4/3 crowd, you have a cracking and typical first set of pictures : typical because of the cat and the flowers ... :D:D:laugh::laugh:

Have a nice evening,
Rafael

Nice sets guys - glad you're not all hibernating :D

We also have orchids :D
This shot is a little special, because it was made using my 50inch flatscreen as a focusing device.
Indeed, with the hdmi output of the GH2, you can connect the camera directly to the screen.
All you need is a mini-hdmi to hdmi cable (cheap on Ebay).

This fonctions well, except that, at least in my setup, the focusing magnification (x5) for manual focusing does not seem to work ...
Can anybody confirm this ?
Maybe it's just a setting, I will have to investigate ...

I was looking into that feature because I'm looking towards this as a focusing aid for my next spring/summer macros and close-ups

LCD 7" VM-2 Video-DSLR field monitor

And now for the pic, nothing special in fact, just an orchid, with GH2 and Micro-Nikkor 105/2.8, on tripod of course ..

Still lots of small birds in the garden.
Today for you : Dunnock, Prunella modularis,
sometimes called the Hedge Accentor, Hedge Sparrow or Hedge Warbler.

Shot with GH2 and Nikkor 300/2.8 on tripod, through double glass
